YAMAHA SC-60 Used Motor Boats for Sale in Japan

We’d like to introduce the legendary Yamaha SC-60. As you can see from the photos, although approximately 33 years have passed since its launch, the boat shows no signs of age-related deterioration. Since it is owned by a corporation, it has a dedicated crew that performs regular exterior maintenance.Both the interior and exterior are in such excellent condition that one might wonder if it’s really been 33 years. The boat is equipped with two 610-horsepower engines from Germany’s MTU (Friedrichshafen—a subsidiary of Rolls-Royce), and with only 2,292 operating hours, the engine shows no signs of its age. Although I did not take it for a test run during my visit, it appeared to start on the first try and run smoothly. According to the owner, there are no issues and it is in excellent condition. The vessel is also equipped with a 12-kilogram Onan generator, which has logged only 1,580 hours of operation—a remarkably low figure considering the boat’s age. The interior of the hull is also in excellent condition, showing virtually no signs of wear. The boat is reportedly capable of a top speed of 23 knots and typically cruises at around 20 knots. It has a 2,000-liter fuel tank, allowing for approximately 8 hours of continuous cruising. This vessel is currently moored and stored at a marina in southern Hyogo Prefecture.
