YAMAHA BAYFISHER 23 Used Motor Boats for Sale in Japan

This is a Yamaha 23-foot “Bayfisher-23” that has had only one owner.
With its traditional Japanese-style design and spacious deck, this boat is ideal for fishing and commercial fishing.
It is extremely maneuverable and easy to handle.
It can be easily operated by a single person, and there is ample deck space even for group fishing trips.

It features a wide, flat front deck with stainless steel double rod holders on both sides.
The bow is equipped with a crossbit, bow roller, and winch.
The anchor locker has ample capacity, with plenty of room even when the anchor and rope are stowed inside.

Since there are no chairs on the rear deck, you can move around freely.
Because this boat was used primarily for local fishing, fixed seats were not installed.
There is about 35 cm of clearance on both sides of the console, so you can easily pass through even while holding a fishing rod.

There is a lockable hatch under the console that holds inspection equipment and other items.
We will organize and clean it prior to sale.
There are three hatches lined up at the front; the center one is a livewell, and the ones on the left and right are storage compartments.
The interior is wide at the bottom, with ample space measuring approximately 90 cm in length and 66 cm in width.
With a height of 56 cm, you can also use a breather pipe.
The storage compartments on both sides are also very handy for storing fishing gear and other equipment.

The stern hatch houses the battery and fuel tank.
This boat is equipped with a switchable dual-battery system, providing peace of mind in case of battery trouble.
Both batteries were replaced in May 2026.
The fuel tank includes a genuine Yamaha 24L portable fuel can and a fuel filter.
The spare portable fuel can shown in the photo is also included.

The steering system on this boat was replaced with a manual hydraulic steering system when it was new.
The steering is light, and since it isn’t pushed by engine torque, the boat remains stable even at high speeds.

The boat is equipped with brand-new Hondex GPS fishfinder “PS-900 600W,” manual hydraulic steering system “Sea Partner V,” LED navigation lights & deck lights, and two sets of stainless steel double rod holders.
The electric winch and bow roller were transferred from the previous boat and are operating smoothly.
The cabin sunshade cover has been in place since the boat was new, so the windows show no signs of deterioration and are in excellent condition.

The engine has been serviced without fail every year and is running very smoothly.
Of the 768 hours of operation, 554 hours were spent idling.
The boat has otherwise been operated almost exclusively at low speeds and has been well-maintained.
The most recent maintenance included replacement of the impeller, thermostat, and spark plugs in April 2025, and replacement of two batteries in May 2026.
Engine oil, oil filter, gear oil, and internal and external engine anodes are replaced annually.

This boat has been carefully maintained by a single owner since it was new.
Although it is stored at a dock, it is washed with fresh water after every use, so it is in excellent condition.
