Appearance
Although stored moored for many years, the hull remains in beautiful condition. There are very few hit and miss scratches on the bowsprit. There were also no noticeable scratches on the gunnels.
Front and side decks
The decks are gussied up with no areas of bua-bua-bua, as is typical of older vessels. The handrails are also well secured. The area where the anchor winch was originally attached has been patched with putty, and there are no leaks or other problems. The side walk was about 40 cm wide. It is wide enough for an adult to walk through.
There are two yukes
, one at the front of the cabin and one on the aft deck. Both are quite spacious and can hold about four bluefish!
Bridge
The bridge area is shiny and clean. The handrails are securely fastened without any wobbles. The navigation lights are working fine. The searchlight and rear deck light also lighted up. They are quite bright. The awning seems to have not been installed for a while. The sails of older vessels turn white, but the coloring is good and there is no corrosion at all on the aluminum framework. There is an electric marine toilet in the cabin. It appears to have been installed not long ago, but we were unable to confirm its operation at the time of the interview.
Aft Deck
The aft deck is also gussied up with no lumps and dents. It is also in good condition with no non-slip reduction. There is one storage compartment on each side, with battery storage on the port side and the main switch on the starboard side. In the middle of the deck is the main yoke. A chair is attached to the lid here. On the port side of the drive, there is a swimming rudder attached, which is useful for swimming and other activities!
Cockpit
The cockpit is also in beautiful condition. The acrylic on the side of the cockpit has lost some of its transparency, but this is not a problem at all! The GPS fish finder is a Hondex PS-800GP. Both the GPS and fish finder are in good working order. There is an engine meter panel under the GPS fish finder. Currently the engine hour is showing 870 hours. These are actual working hours. There is also an electrical panel embedded in the foot of the boat for lights, wipers, etc. The searchlight, deck lights, and wipers have all been confirmed to work.
4JH2-DTZ
The engine is a Yanmar, 4JH2-DTZ, with up to 72 hp. Hour is 870 actual hours. The owner has written down maintenance etc. on the engine. So it is easy to see what was done and when. The fuel consumption is about 15 liters after 8 hours of going fishing a day. It is very fuel efficient! The exterior of the engine is relatively clean and rust is not much of an issue. The rudder cylinder was also in good working order with no rust. The drive seems to have been well maintained. The battery has just been changed. The speed is said to be 18 knots cruising, with a maximum of 22-23.
